Reporting directly to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, the Warehouse Specialist will carry out the daily activities required for efficient warehousing and logistics operations. This includes the physical handling of goodssuch as receiving, storing, and dispatchingto ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery to customers. Location of the role: Belfast (On-site) Key Responsibilities Inventory & Warehouse Operations: Perform hands-on tasks such as picking, packing, and organizing stock within the warehouse environment. Logistics & Distribution: Assist in the preparation of goods for dispatch and the loading/unloading of delivery vehicles. Digitisation Support: Utilise IT systems and handheld scanners to record stock movements and maintain accurate digital records. Performance & Reporting: Assist in stock takes and provide data to management for performance monitoring and reporting. Health & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe workspace and strictly follow all company safety regulations and policies. Compliance: Ensure all goods are handled and stored according to risk and compliance standards. Key Qualifications & Experience Essential: Experience: Previous experience working within a warehouse or logistics environment. Systems Skills: Proficiency in using supply chain systems, such as ERP or inventory management platforms, for daily tasks. Technical Literacy: Ability to use Excel for basic data entry and inventory tracking. Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with the team and stakeholders. Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Team Support: A willing attitude to support the wider team, including covering duties during staff leave. Adaptability: Ability to follow processes and adapt to digital solutions or change initiatives within an SME environment.
