About The Role
We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician / Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join a busy, professional workshop environment.
You will be responsible for performing advanced mechanical servicing, electronic diagnostics, and vehicle system repairs across a wide range of modern passenger vehicles.
This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys working with modern automotive technology, engine management systems, drivetrain engineering, and electronic vehicle systems within a fast-paced, high-quality repair environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repair work
* Carry out advanced vehicle diagnostics using modern automotive software systems
* Diagnose electrical, engine management, and drivetrain faults
* Complete brake, suspension, clutch, gearbox, and engine repair work
* Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and compliance standards
* Produce accurate technical documentation and service reports
* Provide professional technical feedback when required
* Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workshop environment
About You
* NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair preferred (not essential)
* Proven experience as a vehicle technician or automotive mechanic
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability across multiple vehicle systems
* Experience using modern diagnostic tools and automotive software
* Full UK driving licence required
* Detail-focused, reliable, and quality-driven professional
* Strong team collaboration and customer service awareness
