An opportunity has arisen for a Direct Payments Assistant to join us in Adult Social Care Finance where we support people who have chosen to arrange their own care and support via direct payment. The direct payments team work with community teams across East Sussex County Council. We cover a customer telephone line, answering questions for both internal teams and members of the public. As a Direct Payments Assistant, you will provide office support to ensure that direct payments are correctly processed and monitored. Our team provides advice and guidance, acting as the main point of contact for direct payments, covering the adult social care systems, direct payment helpline and email inbox.
