A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Family Solicitor to join a well-established, supportive, and progressive law practice in Bedfordshire. This role is ideal for a newly qualified solicitor (up to 4 years' PQE) who is looking to build a career in family law within a welcoming and approachable team environment.
To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials:
* Manage your own caseload of family matters including divorce, financial settlements, and private children cases.
* Provide clear, empathetic, and professional legal advice to clients.
* Handle a variety of cases including cohabitation disputes, separation agreements, and injunctions.
* Support colleagues with ongoing cases, including maternity and holiday cover.
* Play an active role in business development by attending networking events and building strong client relationships.
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with SRA standards and firm policies.
Within this position, you'll also be:
* NQ-4 years' PQE in family law (applications from trainees qualifying into family are welcome).
* Strong technical knowledge across divorce, financial remedy, and private children matters
* Excellent organisational and case management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
* The confidence to work independently but also contribute as part of a collaborative team.
* A proactive mindset, with an interest in business development and growing the department.
