Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Plasterer to join our Scarborough team. The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance work, including all plastering aspects. This will range from general small repairs to tiling, DPC tanking and pointing work. Your main duties will include fully plastering kitchens and bathrooms to a high standard, within a timely manner.
Responsibilities
* In-depth knowledge of repairs and maintenance of buildings – in relation to plastering work
* Relevant NVQ level 2 qualification or equivalent together with experience within the plastering trade
* Fully competent in health and safety, with safe systems of work
* Ability to multi-skill – this is desirable but not essential
* Full UK driving licence (if you have a disability, we will explore reasonable adjustments with you)
* Multiskilled work that includes bricklaying to an acceptable standard for Beyond Housing (small wall building / removing or replacing bricks / pointing / blocking up voids in walls)
* Self-starter who can work alone or in a team; flexible, willing to learn, and able to grow within a developing and progressive organisation
* You may need to mentor an apprentice, volunteer, or work experience placement as part of this role
