I am actively seeking a quality orientated, diligent and career minded Warehouse/Production operative for an established and reputable business in South Manchester.

You will be involved in the writing of Risk Assessments and SOPs whereupon staff safety is by far the company's top priority.
This opportunity requires a very responsible individual whom will follow company procedure(s) to the letter and not take short cuts, believing time savings take precedent over halth and safety.
Full Company PPE must be worn at all times whilst on the shop floor-hard hat, safety glasses/visor, ear defenders, hi viz, overalls and safety footwear
You will operate an overhead gantry crane for both dual and single hoists using a radio remote. Such tasks will have had detailed risk assessments completed frequently.
Once the steel lengths have been off-loaded, they will be either put away/storede into its rightful place or set aside to be cut. Using cutting notes you will cut the steel to precise measurements using a Tube Laser.
All duties will be allocated and completed with necessary Fire, Health & Safety Regulations and training provided to you, but you will have additional instructions from Foreman in respect of work schedules and to satisfy job / production output
