Following growth in our Corporate Audit and Accounts department, we are seeking a Corporate Accounts Manager to join our expanding team. In this role, you will support engagement partners, the Corporate Accounts Lead, and other senior managers and directors in delivering high-quality accounts services across a diverse portfolio. About the role You will focus on preparing and reviewing corporate accounts and corporation tax, while ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and FRS standards. You will also oversee junior team members, providing guidance, training, and technical support, while helping to enhance departmental processes and resources. Key responsibilities include: Preparing and reviewing complex financial statements, including consolidations and IFRS accounts Reviewing statutory financial statements under UK GAAP (FRS 102 1A, FRS 102, FRS 101) Reviewing corporation tax computations and returns, ensuring timely filing Managing a small portfolio of non-audit accounts clients, including statement review, filing, billing, WIP monitoring, and external stakeholder liaison Overseeing accounts work on audit clients, supporting audit teams and ensuring consistent client delivery Reviewing work of junior team members and ensuring adherence to technical and quality standards Providing on-the-job training, feedback, and support to junior colleagues Assisting in the coordination and delivery of accounts-related training sessions Supporting the development and improvement of departmental processes, templates, and technical resources Contributing to business development and networking opportunities Promoting equality, diversity, and collaboration across teams About You Significant experience in corporate accounts preparation and review Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and corporation tax compliance Experience managing a portfolio of accounts clients and overseeing junior staff Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities A collaborative, team-oriented approach with a commitment to equality and diversity A proactive mindset and eagerness to contribute to process improvements and departmental growth About the rewards 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays Career progression Electric Car scheme Cycle to Work Scheme Life Assurance Group Personal Pension Plan Flexible Holiday Purchase Scheme Enhanced Family Pay – maternity, paternity, parental, and compassionate leave Employee Assistance Programme – 24/7 confidential helpline as well as online support
