As a
Senior Scientist
, you will lead experimental work within the laboratory, applying your deep technical expertise to solve complex challenges in pharmaceutical development. Working with cutting-edge practices, you'll play a key role in improving products and processes while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. function, working alongside highly skilled scientists and engineers who are dedicated to advancing innovative drug delivery solutions. Collaboration is central to how we work – across functions, disciplines, and projects – to bring transformative medicines to patients. You'll also mentor and guide junior colleagues, sharing your knowledge and setting high standards in scientific excellence and compliance.
What Will You Do
In this role, you will:
* Act as a technical expert, leading problem-solving for complex laboratory and process activities.
* Design, lead, and oversee experimental protocols, ensuring high-quality data generation and interpretation.
* Supervise and mentor junior scientists, providing guidance and ensuring compliance with GMP, H&S, and Quality Systems.
* Communicate effectively across teams, contributing to project discussions, strategy, and client interactions.
* Develop and validate technical deliverables, ensuring scientific robustness and regulatory alignment.
* Record and report work comprehensively, presenting results and insights to inform decision-making.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement (CI) and actively implement changes.
Who Are You
You are a scientist with:
* In-depth knowledge and experience in your scientific discipline, with an ability to apply first-principles thinking to novel challenges.
* A proven ability to solve complex technical problems and deliver innovative solutions.
* Experience working independently while also collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams.
* Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, including complex statistical analysis.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly.
* A strong sense of responsibility for quality, compliance, and scientific integrity.
What Will Put You Ahead
* Previous experience in pharmaceutical development or drug-device combination products.
* Demonstrated leadership in mentoring, supervision, or project delivery.
* Experience working under GMP regulations with a solid understanding of quality systems.
* A track record of continuous improvement, innovation, and implementation of new approaches.
* Strong business awareness and the ability to translate scientific expertise into impactful outcomes for patients and partners.
