Location: Wolverhampton
Team: No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF)
Contract: 3 months initially
Hours: Full-time - 37 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: Office-based + hybrid/agile
Driving Licence: Essential
Wolverhampton City Council are recruiting 2 x Social Workers to join the NRPF Team.
The successful candidates will support individuals and families with No Recourse to Public Funds, carrying out assessments, managing complex cases, and ensuring safeguarding responsibilities are met. The role involves travelling across the city, so applicants must be drivers with access to a vehicle.
Requirements:
SWE registered Qualified Social Worker
Must be a driver with access to own vehicle
Experience working within:
Mental Health
Drug & Alcohol misuse
Homelessness / housing vulnerability
Ability to work in a fast-paced, frontline environment
Comfortable with office-based and hybrid/agile working
