The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in Aylesford. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join our team.
Hours: Shifts across Monday to Sunday, including night shifts.
Pay Rate: Nights - £14.38 per hour PAYE
Job Type: Ongoing, with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.
The role includes:
* Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance.
* Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
* Handling runs with 4-5 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
* Assisting with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck, if required.
* Interacting professionally and courteously with customers, representing the company.
Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
* Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
* No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
* Full understanding of WTD legislation.
* Willing to undertake a short driving assessment.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A safety-first mindset.
