We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Production Planner to join our clients team in Penryn on a permanent basis. As a Manufacturing Production Planner, you will play a vital role in ensuring production schedules are met through careful production planning and materials management
Role & Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain conversion schedules to ensure timely delivery of orders.
* Plan and coordinate the use of eight conversion assets and packing area.
* Collaborate with production, sales, and customer service teams to align schedules with customer requirements.
* Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to address any delays or changes in priority.
* Proactively identify potential bottlenecks and implement solutions to maintain workflow efficiency.
* Communicate lead times and any changes effectively to all stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate records and reports on production and conversion activities.
* Continuously seek opportunities to improve planning processes and efficiency.
Skills/Experience Required:
* Proven experience in a planning or scheduling role, preferably within a manufacturing environment – Essential.
* Problem Solving / Process Improvement and application of – Desirable.
* Familiarity with ERP/ MRP Systems - Desirable
* Proficiency in planning and scheduling software - Desirable
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Forward-thinking and proactive approach.
* Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
* 40-hour week with 30 min unpaid break
* Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:00

* Qualification to Private Healthcare after 2 years’ service
* 21 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + 4 Days Company Given Holiday ( Xmas Shut)
