 
        
        Farm Assistant Manager (Berry Production – Irrigation Focus) – Surrey
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 DOE + Accommodation
The Job
A hands-on role supporting the Farm Manager in overseeing berry production operations, with a strong focus on irrigation systems and crop care. You will manage irrigation schedules, monitor soil moisture and crop health, and ensure efficient use of water resources. Alongside this, you will assist with planting, crop husbandry, and harvest operations, while supervising staff and maintaining high standards of productivity and safety.

The Candidate
 * Experience in crop production, ideally within horticulture or soft fruit.
 * Strong understanding of irrigation systems and water management.
 * Practical, hands-on approach with a focus on detail.
 * Ability to supervise and motivate teams of staff.
 * Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
 * Flexible, proactive, and willing to work peak season hours.
 * Full UK driving licence (essential).
