What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will:
1. AAT Level 4 Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
2. Ideally CCAB qualified or equivalent
3. A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a busy finance department, ideally in the Education Sector
4. Have working knowledge of financial regulations, relevant policies, codes of practice, and awareness of legislation relating to MATs and their academies
5. Experience in the production of management accounts
6. Knowledge of the requirements of the ESFA Academies Trust Handbook and Annual Accounts Direction
7. Excellent knowledge of financial management systems, spreadsheets, and databases

The Harmony Trust operates a hybrid working model. Some roles require working on-site at least 3 days per week, with two of those days on designated days working alongside the Finance team to support development and collaboration. There is also an option to work from home two days per week. Roles supporting academies will include at least one day based within an academy to support financial management and foster collaboration across the organization.
