Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo) based at Dale Hall. The SENDCo will be responsible for overseeing the provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and fostering an inclusive learning environment. Day-to-day tasks include identifying student needs, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), coordinating with teachers and parents, providing guidance and support to staff, and monitoring student progress.
Qualifications
* Experience in special educational needs and qualified SENDco award.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, and staff
* Ability to develop and implement strategies to support inclusive education
* Organizational skills for maintaining records and monitoring student progress
* Experience in teaching or education sector roles is a plus
* Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field
