Metabolic Nurse Specialist (AP) – NHS Lothian
We are looking for a highly skilled Metabolic Nurse Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. This role involves providing specialist advice, supporting patient care, and improving service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Utilize specialist clinical knowledge to inform decision making and clinical judgement.
* Provide specialist advice to the multidisciplinary team regarding the management of patient conditions through assessment, treatment, and review planning.
* Deliver specialist advice to healthcare professionals, other agencies, carers, clients and relatives.
* Support development of the service, improve practice, and work collaboratively across healthcare boundaries, implementing and evaluating evidence‑based standards, guidelines and policies.
* Maintain Membership/Record with PVG Scheme; obtain required Disclosure Scotland approval if not currently a member.
Eligibility and Requirements
