WTW Maintenance services engineers are responsible for ensuring the cost-effective, environmentally conscious maintenance of all building engineering services and contributing to sustainable designs within our buildings.
Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, equipment and materials involved with heating, boilers, pumps, building chillers, lighting, ventilation, air-conditioning and distribution systems, electrical distribution and UPS systems, standby generators, water supply distribution, sanitation, employee & public health, fire protection systems, safety systems, lifts & escalators operations, and building operation with BMS control systems.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
A multi-skilled engineer (mechanically qualified) is required:
* To join an established full-time ‘in-house’ maintenance team, including weekend work when required.
* Undertaking all aspects of building services maintenance, working on a wide variety of plant.
* Operational knowledge of BMS systems (Johnson Controls and Simmtronics Lighting advantageous).
* Responsibilities include reactive and planned maintenance to all Building Services.
* Participation in out-of-hours call-out procedures.
* Interaction with building users at all levels and third-party service providers is required.
The Requirements:
Candidates will need to demonstrate evidence of the following:
* Mechanical/Electrical approved Apprenticeship with experience in large office environments.
* GasSafe and FGAS regulations knowledge is desirable.
* Knowledge of HSG274 and training on water distribution systems (ACOP L8, Cooling Towers desirable).
* Knowledge of BMS & Controls Systems use.
* LV/UPS/Generator experience within a building services environment.
* Problem-solving & analytical ability within the building services environment.
* Communication skills at all levels.
* The ability to work as part of a team or individually.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety standards and legislation (NVQs/CITB/IOSH/NEBOSH).
* Health & Safety courses related to building services, WAH, IPAF, PASMA, PUWER, MH, COSHH, etc.
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and general IT competency & numeracy.
* Ability to read technical drawings, basic operation use of CAD.
* Self-discipline in time management.
