Responsible for the oversight and delivery of the SJPPS monthly management accounts and associated financial, regulatory and statutory reporting.
What you'll be doing:
1. Delivery and ownership of the SJPPS monthly management accounts.
2. Review, challenge and sign-off the monthly SJPPS controls pack.
3. Provide senior management with relevant commentary as to the financial performance of the business on a monthly basis (variance to prior year & forecast)
4. Own and develop the SJPPS monthly MI and forecasts (cash and accounting).
5. Process improvement – drive for continued process improvement and efficiencies in the delivery of information and reporting.
6. Statutory reporting – own and deliver the SJPPS statutory accounts and manage external audit queries.
7. Regulatory reporting – oversight and delivery of relevant regulatory returns.
8. Business partner with the Partner Finance, Corporate strategy and Treasury teams to ensure any financial reporting Impacts of their activities are fully understood and communicated.
9. Intercompany champion - oversight of the Group intercompany balances and matrix
10. Attendee of the Treasury Committee, keeping Financial reporting abreast of relevant Issues.

11. SJP Partner Loans Ltd:
12. Review and challenge the monthly management accounts and controls pack
13. Statutory reporting – own and deliver the statutory accounts and manage external audit queries.
14. Delivery and ownership of the monthly management and statutory accounts of minor entities within the Group as required.
15. Ownership of the Group Partner loan and borrowing notes.
16. Treasury – Carry out the responsibilities required of an appointed payment authoriser.
17. Assist the wider finance team in ad-hoc tasks/project work as required.
Essential Criteria
18. In depth knowledge of financial accounting and ability to understand and interpret financial information.
19. Strong statutory accounting knowledge
20. Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
21. Must be a qualified accountant as recognised in the UK ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.
Desirable Criteria
22. Experience of the financial services sector is desirable, in particular, familiarity with debt instruments and special purpose vehicles.
23. Experience with PowerQuery
