This role is based at their rural site between Daventry and Northampton, so having your own transport is essential. The role: Making one-offs and small batches of complex precision machined components from various aerospace grade materials. Setting and operating milling or turning machines Producing high precision work Reading engineering drawings Knowledge of either Fanuc, Siemens or XYZ controls Accurately inspecting and measuring components using various inspection equipment including, but not limited to, Micrometers, Verniers and Plug Gauges.Key skill requirements: Previous experience working in a precision machining environment as a turner.
