Court of Protection / Vulnerable Client Solicitor | Eastbourne
Are you an experienced Court of Protection Solicitor with a passion for advocating for vulnerable clients? Do you have a strong track record in managing complex cases and providing compassionate, client-focused legal advice? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you to join a well-established law firm in Eastbourne.
The Role:
1. Managing a varied caseload including Deputyship applications, Personal Injury Trusts, Statutory Wills, and other CoP matters.
2. Acting for vulnerable clients and their families, providing expert guidance and tailored solutions.
3. Liaising with healthcare providers, financial institutions, and other professionals to protect clients' interests.
4. Handling disputes regarding financial management and property of those lacking capacity.
5. Providing clear, empathetic communication to clients and maintaining strong relationships.
Requirements:
6. Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE in CoP/Vulnerable Client matters.
7. Demonstrable experience in dealing with complex CoP cases and a strong understanding of mental capacity law.
8. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, client-focused approach.
9. Ability to work autonomously and manage a busy caseload effectively.
10. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
