Hydrogeologist x4 - All levels at Jacobs
At Jacobs, we're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world's most critical problems for thriving cities, resilient environments, mission‑critical outcomes, operational advancement, scientific discovery and cutting‑edge manufacturing, turning abstract ideas into realities that transform the world for good.
Your impact
Working closely with the Head of Discipline of Hydrogeology to manage the delivery of water resource and low‑flow studies aligned to our clients' WINEP commitments, you will play a key part in our UK Water Catchment Management & Maritime capability team. You will be involved in the technical delivery of a wide scope of geological and hydrogeological projects as part of a multi‑disciplinary team, providing functional expertise for water‑resource management and environmental impact assessments. You will also provide specialist hydrogeological support in reviewing datasets, identifying groundwater‑surface water interaction, formulating conceptual site models, designing and implementing groundwater monitoring schemes, interrogating groundwater models, designing signal tests, and assessing the impact of abstraction and options for meeting WINEP objectives.
