We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and Senior Physiotherapist to join our multi-disciplinary team at All Hallows, Suffolk. The role involves delivering a person-centered therapy service to adults with physical deficits following an acquired brain injury or cerebrovascular accident. This position is open to Band 7 candidates.
All Hallows Specialist Neurological Rehabilitation Centre supports men and women with complex healthcare needs due to brain injury, stroke, or other neurological events. Our services include:
* Active / Complex Rehabilitation
* High Dependency & Specialist Nursing Care
* Progressive Neurological Conditions
* Community Rehabilitation
Requirements include:
* Diploma/BSc in Physiotherapy
* Current HCPC registration
* Experience with neurological conditions
* Continued professional development
* Leadership skills and experience supervising junior staff
* Excellent communication skills
* Interest in neuro rehabilitation and developing clinical skills in this field
* Membership of a professional body (e.g., CSP)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a caseload of clients with brain injury, including assessment and development of goal-focused rehabilitation plans.
2. Provide direct physiotherapy interventions and advise on related issues such as manual handling, falls management, spasticity, and respiratory care.
3. Promote patient choice, independence, and physical activity.
4. Demonstrate clinical leadership and conduct regular supervisions with junior staff.
5. Share knowledge through training and support.
6. Maintain a safe environment, confidentiality, and up-to-date documentation.
7. Liaise with other health and social care professionals for planning and discharge.
