This role supports the delivery of mechanical building services design across a range of projects, with responsibility for project delivery, client interaction, and technical design. The company has received industry recognition for its work in sustainability and building services design.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver mechanical building services design across building and infrastructure projectsProduce specifications, drawings, and contract documentation in line with industry standardsEnsure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and technical standardsWork within multi-disciplinary teams to support coordinated design deliveryLiaise with clients and external design teams to support project progressionDevelop and maintain client relationshipsSupport project planning, cost control, and budget managementIdentify and manage scope and programme changes in line with change control processesProvide technical support across projectsContribute to company growth through identification of opportunitiesSupport and mentor junior team membersMaintain continued professional development and technical knowledgeRequirementsDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or equivalent qualificationMeets academic requirements for professional registration with a relevant institutionMinimum 5+ years' experience within Building Services / MEP designExperience delivering mechanical design on a range of project types and sizesProficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Cymap, and Microsoft OfficeStrong understanding of building services design and project deliveryExperience working both independently and within a team environmentAbility to manage deadlines and work under pressureUnderstanding of project budgets and financial managementFull UK driving licenceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPackage & BenefitsCompetitive salary (dependent on experience)25 days annual leave + bank holidaysPension schemePrivate medical coverLife assurance / death in serviceHybrid workingFlexible working hoursHoliday purchase schemeCycle to work schemeProfessional membership support
