The purpose of the role is to foster a culture in which research is rooted in routine clinical practice. Our strategic intent is underpinned by an environment where research is part of the clinical practice in a way that adds real value and impact which benefits our patients.
The post holder will be seconded for months to R&D for day-a-week from the date the agreed release secondment starts. The post holder will be equipped with the confidence and skills needed to make sure the practice is evidence-based and to support and inspire your colleagues in the respective Directorates to undertake clinically relevant research.
This is an opportunity for an individual working for the OPAC, CYPF, or ASMH directorate to support Nursing and AHP actively involved in research with generating new, practice-based research questions and involvement in various research delivery modes.
Main duties of the job
Support research within their directorate by developing and applying research that improves care, the health and wellbeing of our patients and workforce.
Support the R&D in increasing the visibility and dissemination of NMAHP research at CPFT.
The post holder will continue to be based with their clinical service with an expectation of engaging with the wider service directorate as well as the occasional need to be at the Windsor Research Unit in Fulbourn Hospital.
