Receptionist – Financial Services
Canary Wharf | £35,000–£37,000 + bonus | 5 days in the office
A great opportunity for a warm, professional Receptionist to join a well-respected financial services firm based in Canary Wharf. As the first point of contact, you’ll play a key role in shaping the visitor experience. This role would suit someone who enjoys meeting people, brings confidence and warmth to their work, and takes pride in maintaining a calm, welcoming environment. You’ll also work closely with the Office Management team and support with wider tasks when needed, offering good exposure across the business.
What you’ll be doing
• Meeting and greeting clients, guests and colleagues in a warm and professional manner
• Managing a busy reception area and ensuring a smooth, well-organised visitor journey
• Overseeing meeting room bookings and ensuring rooms are set up and running smoothly
• Escorting guests to meeting rooms and coordinating refreshments when required
• Supporting the Office Management team with daily tasks and general office operations
• Assisting with internal events, meetings and ad hoc office support
About you
• Experience as a Receptionist within a corporate or professional services environment
• Confident, personable and comfortable acting as the first point of contact
• Organised and calm, with the ability to manage a busy front desk
• Proactive, reliable and happy to support the wider team
• Takes pride in delivering a consistently high front-of-house experience
