The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations, and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes. This role is vital in managing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and maintain financial records in compliance with IFRS and UAE tax laws.
* Record daily financial transactions and ensure that general ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations are accurate and up to date.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Liaise with internal departments and external auditors to support audit activities.
* Monitor cash flow and assist in preparing financial forecasts.
* Prepare VAT returns and ensure full compliance with FTA (Federal Tax Authority) regulations.
* Maintain and update fixed asset registers, and conduct regular asset audits.
* Support and improve internal financial controls and accounting procedures.

* Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.
* Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally, or other ERP systems.
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
* High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
* Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
