Personal Assistant - Personal Injury

A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to support a Partner within its well-established Occupiers and Public Liability team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, highly organised individual with strong legal secretarial experience in personal injury or civil litigation.
The Opportunity
You’ll play a key role in supporting the day‑to‑day operations of a busy Partner and team, ensuring a seamless and professional service for clients. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare correspondence, legal documents, and reports through audio typing and word processing.
* Manage digital filing, including opening, closing, storing, and retrieving client files.
* Coordinate diaries, arrange meetings, and handle appointment scheduling.
* Provide professional, client‑focused support both in person and over the phone.
* Assist with document preparation for court and case management systems.
* Liaise effectively with other secretaries and administrative staff to support the wider team.
* Ensure confidentiality and uphold the firm’s standards for client care and service excellence.
About You
* Demonstrable legal secretarial or PA experience within a law firm (essential)
* Previous exposure to personal injury or civil litigation work (desirable).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent English spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
* Audio typing speed of 65+ words per minute (essential).
* Experience using Proclaim or similar case management systems (advantageous).
* Professional, confident, and client‑focused with exceptional attention to detail.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a busy workload independently.
