Reception Teacher – Wigan (WN2)

Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (with potential to become permanent)
Salary: Pay-to-Scale, dependent on experience
A supportive primary school in the WN2 area is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join their supportive Early Years team. This is a wonderful opportunity to help children take their first steps in education, fostering curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning within a nurturing and engaging environment.

* A qualified teacher with QTS and experience in EYFS or Early Years settings.
* A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and child-led learning principles.
* A creative and adaptable teaching style that supports children’s personal, social, and academic development.
* A nurturing and patient approach that encourages independence and emotional wellbeing.
* A team player who works effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure every child thrives.
* A current Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
