Key Account Manager - Midlands (Hybrid: 3 Days WFH)

Are you an experienced relationship-builder with a passion for delivering exceptional customer value? We're recruiting a Key Account Manager to join a growing, forward-thinking organisation where you'll take ownership of strategic accounts, drive growth, and play a pivotal role in enhancing customer satisfaction.

The Role

As a Key Account Manager, you will:
Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across your assigned account portfolio, developing a deep understanding of their needs and positioning the business as a preferred supplier.

Partner with the Customer Success Team to create customer-centric Key Account Plans with clear goals and strategies - driving new business, retaining existing clients, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Monitor, manage, and report on your sales pipeline and overall portfolio performance.

Lead customer satisfaction reviews, addressing challenges and ensuring all improvement actions are followed through.

Stay up to date with industry trends, market shifts, and company offerings to deliver informed, relevant conversations with customers and prospects.

Maintain high-quality CRM data for all assigned accounts.

Support resolution of critical invoicing issues and work closely with Finance to follow up on receivables for key accounts.

Identify and support new business opportunities beyond your core portfolio when needed.

What You'll Need

A deep understanding of CCL's technology and the ability to help customers maximise use of available functionality.

10+ years of consistent success in the 3PL/4PL logistics sector, specifically in growing and managing key accounts.

Strong value creation skills, leveraging customer, supplier, and company interests to maximise overall value.

A highly commercial mindset, able to contribute to growth while protecting profitability.

Demonstrated customer-centric approach with proven relationship-building and influencing skills.

Excellent project planning ability that drives productivity, structure, and consistency.

Organised, focused and results-driven with the energy to deliver against key objectives.

Brilliant communication skills, both written and verbal.

Natural leadership qualities-able to motivate others and drive team success .

Package & Benefits

£60,000 salary

25 days annual leave + bank holidays

Private healthcare

Hybrid working - 3 days per week from home

Monday to Friday (no weekends)
