We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Business Support Officer to join our friendly and supportive team within the Education and Children’s Directorate.
In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting our Inclusion Service, helping ensure children, families, and professionals receive the high-quality support they need. If you enjoy being organised, helping others, and working as part of a collaborative team, this could be the perfect opportunity—whether you're experienced in admin or looking to grow your skills.
What you’ll be doing
1. Providing high-quality administrative support to managers and operational teams
2. Supporting Social Workers, managers, and professionals across the Inclusion Service
3. Communicating with families, colleagues, and members of the public
4. Using systems and data to support service delivery and decision-making
5. Helping ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently
What we’re looking for
Passion for great service
You care about doing a great job—getting things right first time, supporting others, and continuously building your skills.
Knowledge & experience
6. Experience in an administrative or office-based role (or a strong willingness to learn)
7. Confidence using Microsoft Office and databases
Strong communication skills
You’ll interact with a wide range of people, so being able to communicate clearly, listen carefully, and respond with empathy is essential.
