AS A REGISTRATION CLERK, EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT, you’ll be relied upon to often be the first point of contact for patients, their significant others and family members as they enter through our facility. You'll be relied upon to perform clerical and receptionist duties while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of information.
Shifts
Rotating 7am to 7pm, 7pm to 7am, Every other Weekend & Every Other Holiday
Responsibilities
* Greet and assist patients and visitors, directing them to appropriate departments and staff while maintaining confidentiality.
* Perform clerical and receptionist duties with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ensure accurate data entry and documentation in patient records.
* Coordinate with healthcare staff to support patient flow and administrative processes.
Qualifications
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Current CPR certification or must be obtained within 6 months of hire
* Medical Terminology training
* Prior Emergency Room Unit Secretary experience (preferred)
* Good communication skills
* Medical systems computer experience (preferred)
* Team-oriented and able to work collaboratively
