You will be working alongside the RSOM to deliver an outstanding service to our customers at Wiltshire Farm Foods, Accrington depot.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the depot, ensuring we hit all of our financial and operational targets, and being proactive through exceptional leadership to develop plans for any KPIs that are off track.
The office manager will directly report to you, and you will provide support to ensure the office team delivers an exceptional customer experience. Additionally, you will manage the delivery team to ensure compliance with all health and safety policies and delivery procedures.
Salary circa £28,000 - £32,000 per annum + Bonus + Benefits.

Responsibilities
Operations: Ensure adherence to Health & Safety, Hygiene, and Food Safety procedures; maintain adequate, cost-effective resources; manage stock levels; support staff daily to deliver profitability and service standards; ensure behaviors align with apetito’s Code of Conduct; uphold operational standards; ensure vehicle maintenance; act as a key link between onsite teams; deputize for the RSOM; maintain route optimization; deliver retail standards within the depot.
Financials: Support the RSOM in achieving business objectives; monitor KPIs; drive performance and profitability; forecast financial performance accurately.
People: Lead and support staff to increase engagement and motivation; recruit, induct, develop, and review employees; develop training programs; identify and manage training needs.
Customer: Champion excellent service standards; ensure processes are followed; exceed customer expectations where possible; oversee delivery of literature to customers.
Communications: Maintain excellent communication with client staff; deliver administration and reporting; ensure compliance with policies; maintain presentation standards; promote employee engagement; build relationships within the company and externally.
About you
Essential: High customer care standards; effective telephone skills; administrative experience; stock control experience; team management skills; P&L understanding; workload prioritization; proficient in Microsoft Office; full driving license.
Desirable: Transport & Logistics background; Navision knowledge; contract catering experience; fleet management; Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate.

Occasional travel to depots and the factory may be required.
