Are you a passionate Development Analyst? And looking for an exciting new role?
Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Development Analyst to work with their very well-established client based in Nottingham.
For this Development Analyst role we are seeking candidates who have a strong working knowledge of code as an Analyst or a former developer that is looking to move into business analysis.
Further requirements include, testing, technical documentation, code maintenance, specialist application development support, development (configuration) of business solutions using low code / no code platforms, technical documentation and change management. Whilst the role requires an aptitude for software development (e.g. ability to review and interpret code) it is not primarily a programmer position.

Principle Responsibilities for the Development Analyst:
1. To deeply understand business requirements and end user
2. Based on high level objectives to distil key elements of required business solutions to more technical definitions, as an aid to agile software development.
3. To support solution reviews during the development phase providing feedback to both the developer and end user.
4. Documented testing of solutions during development and assisting with end user testing / acceptance
5. To prepare and deliver demonstrations and skills transfer sessions
6. Development of business solutions via no code / low code platforms
7. Technical documentation of developments
8. Routine maintenance of code in relation to simple bug fixes or minor enhancements or environmental changes.
9. The development of software solutions
10. Technical support of solutions in response to calls referred via helpdesk.
11. Assistance with project launch and initial post go live support
Person Specification for the Development Analyst:
12. Minimum of 3 year’s experience in relevant IT role
13. Experience of working with stakeholders / representatives at all levels and demonstrable ability to present and discuss at a senior level within the firm
14. Excellent understanding of technology and its impact on the business
15. Some experience of Microsoft programming and database environments (Visual Studio, SQL Server)
This is a full time permanent Development Analyst position, offering an annual salary of £25,000 – £32,000.
