If so, we have an excellent opportunity for an SEMH / SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Salisbury and make a meaningful impact every day! The Role: You’ll play a key part in helping classroom teachers provide exceptional support to students between the ages of 5-18 years old. The pupils at this school have primary diagnoses / additional needs of the following: Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties Attachment Difficulties Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) Specific learning difficulties such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, and Dyscalculia All pupils have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP), and many pupils join after struggling in mainstream education and require therapeutic and trauma-informed support. This is an independent SEMH school with an Ofsted grading of “Good”.
