qualifications
Essential criteria
1. •WHO recognised Basic Medical Degree
2. •Full and Specialist registration in haematology (and with a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC), or be eligible for registration within six months of interview.
3. Certificate of completion of training (CCT)
Desirable criteria
4. •MD or PhD is not a requirement but would be looked upon favourably
clinical experience
Essential criteria
5. •Confident in routine laboratory haematology including bone marrow reporting
6. •Evidence of the ability to offer expert clinical opinion in emergency and elective aspects of haematology taking full and independent responsibility for clinical decisions
research and Audit
Essential criteria
7. •Demonstrate knowledge of the role of audit
Desirable criteria
8. •Publications in refereed journals

9. •Evidence of formal undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
