Operating from 6:30am to 6:30pm, we offer a nurturing environment with natural play spaces, open-plan rooms filled with natural light, and abundant age-appropriate resources. With both indoor and outdoor play areas, we create the perfect setting for 90 children to explore, grow, and thrive.
Start with 20 hours per week across Monday to Friday, with your hours growing as our brand-new centre fills with curious little learners!
As our new Chef, you will:
* Plan and prepare daily meals in line with nutrition guidelines and centre requirements
* Cater to diverse dietary needs with confidence and care
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
* Engage with children and educators to promote healthy eating habits
* Build genuine connections with families and create sense of community
What You’ll Bring:
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery OR Certificate III in Hospitality or equivalent
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
* A current Working with Children Check
* Strong understanding of diverse dietary requirements and food sensitivities
* Australian Working Rights
* Impeccable personal presentation
* Experience in menu creation, bulk meal preparation, online ordering, stock management, and budget control
* Proven experience in commercial cooking
* Availability to work Monday to Friday
