Overview
Site Engineer - Civil Engineering | Hayle, Cornwall | Long-term infrastructure project. An established UK infrastructure contractor delivering major flood defence and water management schemes is looking for a Site Engineer to join a project team on a major coastal infrastructure scheme in Hayle, Cornwall. The company works closely with national environmental organisations to deliver flood resilience, tidal defence and pumping station upgrades across the South West.
Responsibilities
* Setting out and surveying works on site.
* Supporting delivery of civil engineering elements of tidal and water infrastructure projects.
* Assisting with QA documentation and site records.
* Coordinating with subcontractors and site management teams.
* Ensuring works are delivered to design specifications.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects.
* Experience with water, flood defence or heavy civils projects preferred.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Knowledge of quality assurance processes and site documentation.
Project Environment
* Coastal infrastructure schemes.
