Your new company
Our client, a Tier 1 contractor operating in the water industry, is seeking a Construction Manager to join their team for the Severn Trent Region on a 3-month contract with a high probability of an extension. You will be working on management of a project within region (Non-Infrastructure Clean & Waste treatment).
Your new role
* Manage construction and regional staff
* Assist with site audits suggesting improvements as appropriate
* Provide technical assistance to the Project Managers, Site managers, site supervisors and in-house designers as appropriate
* Aid with pre-qualification tender submissions & pre-acceptance issues
* Progress Reports / Safety Reports
* Assist in Procurement of SC packages (with QS)
* Attend meetings with Project Managers, Designers and Clients
* Maintain financial forecast of project with PM & QS
* Communicate effectively with management, supervisors, site teams and sub contractors via management meetings, team meetings tool box talks and day to day discussions
* Ensure maintenance of appropriate records to ensure recovery of asset values together with as-built records.
