Job Description
We are looking for a Gas Engineer to work on properties mainly based in Norwich. This will be a permanent position working Monday to Friday hours 8.30am to 5pm with the occasional call-out. You will be supplied with a van and be joining a great team.
As the Gas Engineer you will be:
* Installing, servicing, and repairing domestic gas appliances such as boilers, cookers and fires.
* Conducting safety checks and inspections of gas installations to ensure compliance with regulations
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting gas related issues and provide efficient and effective solutions.
* Providing excellent customer service, including explaining procedures and recommendations to clients
* Working independently and as part of a team with a proactive and positive attitude
* Completing all paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
As the Gas engineer you will have:
* Gas Safe registration with relevant qualifications (e.g., ACS Gas Qualifications).
* Proven experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer, with a strong understanding of gas appliances and heating systems.
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
* Valid driving license and willingness to travel to various locations as required.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and positive attitude.
* Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to health and safety regulations.
