Setting Out Engineers
Job Location: Scotland – Glasgow region
Sector: Civil
Inform3 are currently seeking Setting Out Engineers with over 2 years’ experience to a civil engineeringcontractor working on a battery substation in the Glasgow area.
They are looking for engineers to accurately set out the site according to design specifications.
The project has at least 1 year work left to complete with strong potential for 2nd project in the same area so can offer long term work in Scotland area.
Setting Out Engineer Responsibilities:
* Setting out the site in accordance with site drawings and specifications
* Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
* Accurately record site progress in the diary
* Provide technical and structural experience
* Comply with strict safety regulations
* Conduct Toolbox Talks
* Assist in managing the traffic on site
* Report to the Project Manager
Setting Out Engineer Specification:
* Civil Engineer Degree
* 2+ years plus experience
* Setting Out experience
* Excellent numeracy and communication skills
* Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
* Highly organised and motivated
* Full driving licence
