Position Overview
Autodesk’s Interactive Graphics Solutions group is looking for a highly motivated Senior Frontend Engineer to help build world-class web applications that empower construction companies to work more efficiently and reduce waste across project lifecycles.
As part of Autodesk Construction Cloud, you will contribute to solutions transforming how buildings, bridges, hospitals, campuses, and stadiums are delivered. Our platform enables seamless collaboration, coordination, and data-driven decision-making across all phases of construction.
This is an opportunity to work on complex, high-impact products using modern technologies within a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.
Responsibilities
1. Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and continuous improvement
2. Design and develop scalable, secure, high-performance frontend applications using modern web technologies
3. Translate high-level product requirements into iterative, customer-facing enhancements
4. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Architects, and Engineers across distributed teams
5. Ensure high engineering standards through peer reviews, testing, documentation, and clean architecture principles
6. Advocate for best practices in performance, accessibility, observability, and security
7. Leverage AI tools and modern engineering productivity techniques in daily workflows
8. Contribute to technical discussions, architectural decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
9. 5+ years of hands-on frontend development experience
10. Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
11. Deep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and browser internals
12. Experience with modern testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress)
13. Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
14. Experience working in Agile environments with short release cycles
15. Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, well-documented code
16. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
17. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
18. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
19. Experience with state management solutions such as MobX
20. Familiarity with bundling tools (e.g., Webpack) and modern build systems
21. Experience with web-based 3D visualization technologies
22. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment models
23. Exposure to backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, C#) in distributed or service-oriented architectures
24. Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
25. Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies or serving in a Scrum leadership capacity

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
