An excellent role for a motivated individual looking to further their engineering career.Role DescriptionTo lead a team in delivering quality automation solutions with an agreed programme and cost frameworkEvaluation of existing manual/semi-automated processes, implementing new suggestions and strategy for improvementContinuous improvement of current packaging systems, ensuring team manages workload correctlyFull control of projects involving both internal and external providersModification and/or fabrication of parts to existing automation equipment for more flexibility.Train, mentor and develop the team where possible at all timesSkills and QualificationsExperienced in robot programmingTrained in PLC/HMI programmingExperienced with 3D drawing packages and able to read/complete technical drawings.Experience of designing and implementing automation solutions on a small or large scaleNatural leadership, team leading qualities and desire to help others around themCreative thinkingAbility to analyse and improve production processesExcellent communication skills Hands on approachExcellent trouble shooting and analytical skillsCompany InformationAs a business our client is a true market leader within their industry with a strong presence across the UK.
