Are you a technically skilled IT professional with a passion for designing solutions and engaging with clients? We are looking for a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys blending technical expertise with customer interaction to help deliver industry-leading IT solutions.
About the Role
As a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with the Sales team to develop and present tailored technical solutions for clients. Your responsibilities will include conducting detailed IT audits, scoping projects, designing solutions, and creating supporting documentation and Bills of Materials. Youll attend client meetings alongside Client Managers to provide technical insight and ensure proposed solutions meet both client needs and industry best practices.
What Were Looking For
* Proven experience in a field-based engineering role supporting SMEs
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualisation platforms such as Hyper-V or VMware
* Solid networking knowledge including firewalls (SonicWall, Cisco, Meraki, Sophos), VLANs, routers, and VPNs
* Ability to clearly communicate complex solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Methodical problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Desirable Certifications
* Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
* CCNA or CompTIA Network+
* VMware Certified Professional or equivalent Windows Server certification
* ITIL Foundation
