Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Conveyancer to join our professional legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing property transactions, ensuring legal compliance, and providing exceptional client service. Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of property transactions from instruction through to completion, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
* Draft and review legal documentation such as contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage deeds.
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth transactions.
* Conduct searches, verify titles, and ensure all legal requirements are met in accordance with current legislation.
* Negotiate terms on behalf of clients to achieve favourable outcomes while maintaining professional integrity.
* Keep clients informed of progress and provide clear guidance on legal procedures involved in conveyancing.
* Maintain accurate case files and ensure all documentation is completed within stipulated deadlines.
* Stay updated on changes in property law and conveyancing practices to ensure compliance.
Experience
* Prior experience in conveyancing is essential. Minimum 3 years PQE. Will consider less if an exceptional candidate
* Strong negotiation skills are highly desirable to effectively manage client expectations and facilitate successful transactions.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism.
