Join our HR team and you’ll be part of a growing business where your advisor skills can really shine. You’ll provide advice and support across all areas of HR – from recruitment, T&Cs, contracts, attendance, discipline, and performance, through to much more. You’ll also get involved in the more developmental side of HR, including training, learning and development, behavioural profiling (DISC), and helping to design and implement systems and processes.
Salary Up to £39,000 (depending on experience)
Location Hybrid working in Stockport, SK3 0GA
Hours Full time (Monday to Friday inclusive)
Responsibilities
* Visit client offices and act as their dedicated HR point of contact.
* Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients.
* Provide clear, practical, and commercially focused HR advice and support via email and telephone.
* Stay up to date with changes in Employment Law and HR best practice.
* Work collaboratively with the HR team to deliver an efficient and effective service.
* Support clients in implementing people policies, offering coaching and training where needed.
* Develop initiatives to strengthen engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
* Manage the end-to-end recruitment process to help clients find and secure the right talent.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working as an HR Advisor, either in-house or on a consultancy basis.
* CIPD qualified (Level 5 minimum).
* Confident in providing advice and support to managers and clients on a wide range of employee relations matters throughout the employment lifecycle (e.g., absence management, performance management, disciplinaries and grievances).
* Strong attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
* Able to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure.
* Highly organised, with strong planning, prioritisation and calendar management skills.
* Confident using Microsoft Office and other digital tools.
* Passionate about delivering excellent client care.
* Professional and courteous, with a friendly and approachable manner when dealing with clients.
* Great at multitasking and managing competing priorities.
* A real team player – happy to roll up your sleeves and support wherever needed to achieve shared goals.
