As our business grows, we are seeking experienced Senior Automation Test Engineers to join our live projects within the Central Government team.

Working in a hybrid model, you can choose your office location among Bristol, Plymouth, Cheltenham, Manchester, York, and London, with regular visits to clients required.

The Role
As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you will be part of a small, agile team working on a Central Government project. Your role will focus on implementing automated testing early and often as part of a CI/CD lifecycle.
Responsibilities
1. Utilize a wide range of open source tools and frameworks.
2. Perform manual and automation testing.
3. Work with DevOps and agile methodologies, including TDD, BDD, ATDD, and continuous testing via CI/CD pipelines.
4. Design and develop automated test frameworks for UI and API testing.
5. Use technologies like Selenium, Cypress.io, Webdriver.io, Playwright, Cucumber, Robot Framework, Serenity BDD, and Rest Assured.
6. Contribute to the QA team by introducing new ideas and improving test frameworks and processes.
7. Conduct non-functional testing such as security, performance, accessibility, and operational acceptance testing.
Candidate Profile
* Experienced in manual and automation testing with complex solutions.
* Strong skills with Selenium, Java, Cypress, and JavaScript.
* Comfortable working in Agile teams, autonomous, and advocating best practices.
Additional Requirements
Due to sector security requirements, candidates must hold a British passport and have lived in the UK for the past 5 years to obtain high-level security clearance.
