Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Kitchen Designer to join our dynamic design team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow their career in kitchen and interior design. You'll support the design process from initial consultation to final installation, working closely with clients, senior designers, and suppliers to bring bespoke kitchen solutions to life.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with senior designers and clients during the design brief process to understand client needs, preferences, and budgets.
* Assist in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen designs using CAD software (e.g., Articad).
* Support in material and product selection (cabinetry, countertops, appliances, hardware, etc.).
* Prepare layout plans, 3D renderings and costings for client presentations.
* Coordinate with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are feasible and meet quality standards.
* Help coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery and installation.
* Stay updated on industry trends and materials to provide innovative solutions.
* Conduct site visits to assess spaces and gather necessary measurements.
* Provide exceptional customer service throughout the design process.
Qualifications
* Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Proficiency in CAD software is essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness.
* Knowledge of construction processes and materials is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
* Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects.
* Passion for interior design, particularly in kitchens and bespoke solutions.
* Basic knowledge of construction methods and cabinetry is desirable.
