An exciting and challengingopportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated person tojoin The Yorkshire Clinic as the In-Patient Physiotherapy TeamLeader.
We are looking for an individual who is highlymotivated and flexible in their approach, and who is able todemonstrate excellent clinical leadership in the assessment andmanagement of elective surgical patients.nPerson-centred care and anapproach which promotes enhanced recovery are at the centre of ourphilosophy.
You will be responsible for the day to dayrunning of the Inpatient Services, providing assessment andintervention to a varied caseload ensuring high qualitypatient-centred care,nleading and supervising the learning anddevelopment junior physiotherapists and assistants.nThe role will alsorequire developing and implementing Quality Improvement initiatives toenhance patient care and experience, including review of key qualityoutcomes i.e PROMS.
The In-patient activity at the YorkshireClinic ranges from Orthopaedic procedures to Urology, Gynaecology,Bariatric, General Surgery, and Cosmetics/Plastics.nAt The YorkshireClinic we pride ourselves in quality outcomes and enhancing thepatients experience through use of technology (robotic Knee Surgery)to undertaking Hip and Knee Arthroplasty Surgery as a daycase.
The successful candidate will come with a clear visionto drive the in-patient physiotherapy services, further enhancing ourpatients experience and achieving the best outcomes.
You will:
Relevant degree/qualification in physiotherapy with atleast four years of experience of orthopaedic ward work and a MSKworkload.nAn understanding of Clinical Governance, the CSP’s QualityAssurance Standards and the HCPC Standards of Conduct, Performance andEthicsnThe ability to demonstrate good clinical reasoningprocesses.nExcellent communication and interpersonalskills.nExperience in leading teams in driving qualityoutcomes.nAbility to review outcome data and drive changes forimprovement.nThe ability to plan, organise, prioritise anddelegate.nThe ability to work under pressure.nBe able to demonstraterelevant CPD activity.nBe fully computer literate and willing to useour electronic patient record system.nBe up to date as a ClinicalEducator.
