Pay: £140 - £160 per day (depending on experience)
Empowering Learning is working in partnership with a supportive and forward-thinking primary school near the Stockton area. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join the team.
About the Role:
The school is looking for an experienced KS2 Teacher that has strong classroom management and who is not deterred by challenging behaviour and can manage effectively and positively.You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, tracking progress, and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential in a calm and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Prepare pupils for end-of-Key Stage 2 assessments (SATs) with confidence and structure
Assess and monitor pupil progress regularly and provide effective feedback
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and staff to support student development
Contribute to the wider school community and participate in staff meetings and CPDEssential Experience & Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience teaching in KS2
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation
Proven ability to raise attainment and manage behaviour effectively
PGCE/Degree with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential
Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
A proactive and committed approach to teaching and learning
