At Targeted Provision, we are dedicated to transforming the educational landscape for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. We believe every child deserves a chance to thrive, and we are looking for passionate tutors to help us make that happen.
If you have a genuine desire to support disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners, we want you on our team! This role is perfect for qualified SEN/SEND teachers who are eager to provide 1:1 tutoring in a creative, flexible, and trauma-informed manner.

Your Role as an SEN / SEND Tutor:
* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs
* Support students referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys
* Deliver flexible and holistic tutoring that meets each student's unique needs
Your Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver tailored teaching sessions
* Create engaging and holistic learning experiences that foster educational and emotional growth
* Complete lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress
What We’re Looking For:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
* A minimum of 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost if needed)
* Two professional references
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments
It is essential that you promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people while adhering to safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment Details:
* This position involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments as they arise
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE
* No set amount of work or expenses coverage is provided
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position
