In our mission to maintain and enhance the living standards of our community, the Housing Standards team plays a pivotal role in managing and maintaining all Council homes.
The working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (8:30 am to 4:00 pm Fridays) with participation in a standby and callout rota throughout all areas, Richmond, Selby and Harrogate. This normally is 1 week in 7.

* Use your specialist electrical qualifications and experience to ensure our homes are safe and well‑maintained.
* Thrive in a flexible environment, efficiently managing your own workload while delivering top‑notch service to our residents.
* Create strong working relationships within the Housing team to ensure a seamless service delivery to the community.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing (2391)
* Level 3 Award in Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations (2394) and Level 3 Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations (2395) (or equivalent)
* Gold skilled worker card on successful completion of the above
* Registered as the Qualified Supervisor with the NICEIC
* A Full UK Driving Licence is essential
* Additional experience in social housing and responsive repairs would be a fantastic advantage

Salary ranges by level: Level 2 – Electrician: £34,434 – £37,035. Level 3 – Mentor Level: £37,035 – £41,511. For all roles, full‑time salaries range from £30,000 – £39,999.
